Yaskawa America, Inc. Product
The new MH12 six-axis robot provides superior performance in assembly, dispensing, material handling, machine tending and packaging applications. Featuring a new curved upper arm, the MH12 offers enhanced reach and allows a wider range of application. This patented double yoke design provides additional strength if the robot is crashed due to a programming error. Through-arm cable routing increases cable life and reduces risks of snagging or interference; a 50 mm (2”) through hole in the T-axis provides ample space to minimize wear and maximize cable life. The MH12 has a 1,440 mm (56.7") reach and a large work envelope that extends behind the robot, permitting space for robot tool storage or maintenance. This robot features an increased 12 kg (26.5 lb) payload and moment and inertia ratings over previous models, enabling it to carry larger and heavier loads. It has brakes on all axes and can be floor-, wall- or ceiling-mounted for layout flexibility. The MH12 has a small interference radius that allows the robot to be placed close to other equipment, decreasing floor space requirements. An upper junction box mounted on the back of the upper arm reduces interference with machines or other items in the workcell. Exceptionally fast axis speeds and acceleration reduce cycle times and increase production output. The MH12 is the fastest robot in its class due to cutting-edge Sigma-5 motors and ARM motion. It has an IP67 rated wrist and an IP54 body standard. A variety of optional features are available. MH12 robots are compatible with MLX200 unified controls, DX200 controller or the FS100 controller.
