UCLA使用RE2的HDMS机器人进行EOD相关的触觉研究

加州大学机械和航空航天工程副教授Veronica J. Santos博士，洛杉矶（UCLA）和UCLA BioMechatronatrronics实验室主任，选择了RE2机器人，以提供增强的高度灵巧的操纵系统（HDMS）和集成服务for her laboratory’s haptics research.
Santos博士从美国国防部海军研究办公室获得了国防大学研究仪器计划(DURIP)的拨款，题为“用于研究触觉灵巧操作的现场可部署的双手移动机械手系统”，以采购RE2的HDMS机器人。RE2还将提供软件服务，包括开发ROS-JAUS转换器，以支持Santos的计划。
