Lake Superior State University (LSSU) offers a unique Robotics Option/Specialization for students completing BS degrees in Computer, Electrical, Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering, The option provides a strong background in robotics applications, robotics system design and integration, machine vision, intelligent sensors, communications, manufacturing simulation and automation. LSSU is one of a few U.S. universities with a robotics specialization at the undergraduate level, featuring a $1 million industrial robotics lab including FANUC and Staubli workcells. Companies such as FANUC Robotics, GM, Ford, JR Automation, Applied Manufacturing Technologies, GE, and Kawasaki Robotics specifically seek out LSSU graduates, contributing to our graduates’ nearly 100-percent employment rate.
